Notice of Additional 15-Day Public Comment Period for the Proposed Rulemaking to Amend Pilot Fitness Regulations (Updated 7/2/2021)

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Pilot Commissioners for the Bays of San Francisco, San Pablo, and Suisun (Board) has added to the rulemaking file for amendments to the California Code of Regulations, Title 7, Harbors and Navigation, Division 2 State Board of Pilot Commissioners for the Bays of San Francisco, San Pablo, and Suisun Article 5. Licensing.

The addendum to the Notice and Initial Statement of Reasons (linked below) further explains the necessity for the amendments to the Fitness regulations and medical forms that were approved by the Board on September 24, 2020. The 15-day public commenting period will be in effect until the close of business on July 16, 2021.

Notice of Proposed Rulemaking to Amend Fitness Regulations

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Pilot Commissioners for the Bays of San Francisco, San Pablo, and Suisun (Board) has adopted the omnibus administrative regulations described below after considering all comments, objections and recommendations regarding the proposed action. The Office of Administrative Law has also approved the administrative regulations, which will become effective January 1, 2017.

The following sections of the California Code of Regulations, Title 7, Harbors and Navigation, Division 2; effective January 1, 2017.

  • Section 213.  Pilot Trainees.
